How to block advertisements in KM Player while launching video

Some of you might be using KM Player is your routine video player software. You might have noticed this software is recently behaving notoriously by showing advertisements right at the launch of any video. They are so annoying that they will ruin your fun of few minutes of video. And if you are habituated to click red button or force theme to shut down at some point of time you will be irritating by chronic disturbances of your favorite video playbacks.

Here is a solution by many articles, and you have to apply all of them so that some of them might work now and may also continue to work in future updates of KMPlayer in my case I am using this for more than 1 year and it is running nicely because I applied every tricks together from different articles.

• Go to Your system32 folder inside C drive Windows folder
• Find an open hosts file and run it as administrator
• Type the entries as shown in the image. You have to type all 4 entries one by one don’t forget to place minimum one space after you type digit 1

• Once more open Notepad as administrator
• Save a Blank Page file as the name given in image that is index.htm
• Browse the path of this file inside KMPlayer’s installation folder named logo
• If you are using portable version of KMPlayer browse inside that installation path as shown in the image below, Otherwise it is usually in the root of C drive

Now open Internet options from wherever you can find comfortable.

You can type run command as inetcpl.cpl, or you can go to Internet options from your control panel search bar, over you can also go to Internet Explorer tools menu and go to last option.

• Go to security tab and then restricted sites option
• press sites button. You will find list of restricted sites as shown below

Type all the four domain names as we mentioned previously while editing host text file

You can type which http prefix and without it to avoid interpretation mistake while redirecting.

You don’t need to restart your PC you can immediately start using KMPlayer and enjoy blocked advertisement less interface.
